PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Q: Where can I park?
A: We highly encourage public transportation, carpooling, or rideshare services. Parking is first-come, first-served on surrounding neighborhood streets. Please be respectful of residents and follow posted parking signs. Areas around the park will be restricted.
Q: Will there be any street closures or parking restrictions?

A: Yes, the following streets will be closed:

Ready from Ivanhoe to Craig
Q: Will there be any additional closures or parking restrictions?
A: Yes - The Northside of Woodbourne between Ready and The Alameda will be closed starting August 30th.
Q: What about residents who live in the immediate impacted area (around DeWees)?
A: All residences on Ivanhoe, Tunbridge, and Hardwood in front of DeWees will be given parking permits and allowed access onto their streets.
KIDS ZONE

Q: Can I drop off my children at the Kids Zone?
A: No. All children and teens (17 years - under) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. The Kids Zones are not drop-off areas, and there are no babysitting services or monitors for unattended children.
FOOD OPTIONS

Q: Will there be vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian options?
A: Yes. Many of our food vendors offer vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian meals. Just ask at each booth — dietary icons will be displayed.
COST
​
Q: Does the festival cost anything to attend?
A: No. The festival is free and open to all. It is a celebration of the beauty, strength, and culture of Baltimore’s 4th District.
WATER & COOLING STATIONS

Q: Will there be water or shaded areas available?
A: Yes. Free water cooling stations are available throughout the festival — approximately one every 30 vendor tents. Shaded seating areas will also be available near the stages and kids' zones.
MUSIC & STAGES
​
Q: Who is performing? What’s the schedule?
A: The festival includes live bands, DJs, and community performers throughout the day. There are two main stages: the Mayor’s Stage (for live music and performances) and the DJ Stage (for battles and youth showcases). Check out the full performance under “performance.” Additionally, a schedule will be posted at festival entrances.
RESTROOMS

Q: Are there bathrooms at the festival?
A: Yes. Portable restrooms will be located throughout the event area, especially near stages, kids zones, and food vendors.
PERSONAL ITEMS

Q: Can I bring my own food, drinks, or lawn chairs?
A: Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. However, outside food and beverages are not permitted. We encourage all attendees to support the festival vendors.
PETS
​
Q: Are pets allowed at the festival?
A: Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome. Please be mindful of large crowds and loud music. Owners are expected to clean up after their animals.
VENDORS
​
Q: What types of vendors will be at the festival?
A: The festival will feature over 150 vendors, including community associations, artists, food trucks, nonprofit organizations, and local small businesses.

ACCESSIBILITY
​
Q: Is the event accessible to people with disabilities?
A: Yes. The event is held along a paved and level portion of York Road. There will be accessible restrooms and seating areas available. Volunteers and staff will be on hand to assist as needed.
